FM Bavento S

FM Bavento S is a colt by Argento, out of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Bavi (Balou du Rouet × Caretino × Bachus) — combining two proven international performers in his pedigree.

His dam Bavi competed successfully up to international 1.60m level representing Great Britain, with numerous results at 5* and Grand Prix level. Her career highlights include 3rd in the Bunn Leisure Trophy at Hickstead, 5th in the Grand Prix at Royal Windsor, 5th in the Grand Prix at Liverpool and 5th in the Longines FEI World Cup™ class in Gothenburg.

His sire Argento, ridden by John Whitaker, had an outstanding career at 1.60m and CSI5 Grand Prix level*, with major victories and placings around the world. The pair won several international Grand Prix classes, and Argento was ranked the No. 1 showjumping horse in the world on the WBFSH rankings in 2015.

With Argento × Bavi, FM Bavento S combines the blood of two horses who have themselves performed at the highest level of international showjumping.

FM Bavento S was bred in partnership between FM Equestrian and Olympic rider Robert Smith and his wife Raffaelle Smith. We are very excited about this venture and proud to combine our breeding programme with their many years of experience at the highest level of international sport.
