FM Excelsius

FM Excelsius is an expressive chestnut colt by Excelsior Optimus Z, out of our international 1.60m Grand Prix mare H&M Chacco Dia (Diarado × Chacco-Blue × Baloubet du Rouet). He is particularly special to us as the first foal Chacco Dia has carried herself since retiring from international sport. With his blood, exceptional conformation, expression and presence, he is a real stallion prospect for the future.

His dam H&M Chacco Dia had a successful international career at 1.60m Grand Prix and five-star level, competing with Emma Augier de Moussac, Peder Fredricson and Malin Baryard-Johnsson. With 219 recorded international starts, she competed across some of the biggest shows in Europe before retiring to breeding.  Among her career highlights are:

🏅 4th – CSI3 Grand Prix, Canteleu*

Emma Augier de Moussac produced Chacco Dia from seven years old through to five-star Grand Prix level, before the mare continued her career with Peder Fredricson and later Malin Baryard-Johnsson.

Chacco Dia’s pedigree brings together Diarado × Chacco-Blue × Baloubet du Rouet, and she has already proven herself as a producer, including the approved stallion N-Diagesmaray by Epsom Gesmeray.

FM Excelsius sire Excelsior Optimus Z (Ermitage Kalone × Bamako de Muze) represents another highly proven performance family. He is a son of Olympic stallion Ermitage Kalone, while his dam Cacacha van het Schaeck competed at 1.60m level and produced CSI5* Grand Prix winner Like a Diamond van het Schaeck. His granddam Fortis Fortuna also competed at 1.60m level.

With Excelsior Optimus Z × H&M Chacco Dia, FM Excelsius combines proven Grand Prix performance and production throughout both sides of his pedigree. A striking, blood-type colt with excellent conformation, presence and expression, we believe he has all the ingredients to be a very exciting stallion prospect for the future.
