FM Corinthia

FM Corinthia is a beautiful filly by Conthargos, out of our 1.50m Grand Prix mare Candlelight K (Cardento × Everest VDL). She combines one of our most proven Swedish mare families with the blood of Conthargos, whose offspring are competing at the highest level of international showjumping.

Her dam Candlelight K competed successfully up to international 1.50m Grand Prix level, with numerous wins and placings, including an international Grand Prix victory in Belgium. Her talent was evident from an early age, scoring 10–10 in jumping at her Swedish 3-year-old test, earning a jumping diploma at four, finishing 4th in the Breeders Trophy as a 4-year-old and 2nd as a 6-year-old. In 2014, she won the International 7-Year-Old Final at Gothenburg Horse Show.

Candlelight has also proven herself through her offspring. Her daughter Candle’s Twilight K by Armitage is competing up to 1.40m level in Sweden, while her son Monte Bello K by Monte Bellini is an approved stallion.

The strength of the damline goes even further. Candlelight’s sister Savanna K is also part of the FM family and competed successfully up to 1.40m, with 16 wins and 95 placings in 1.30–1.40m classes. Candlelight and Savanna’s sister Rihanna K jumped very successfully at 1.50m level as well, and all the siblings are already producing successful sport horses and approved stallions in the next generation.

For us, FM Corinthia represents the next generation of a mare family that has been an important part of FM Equestrian from the beginning — now combined with Conthargos, and with proven performance behind her through multiple generations.
