FM Estelle Cavat is a filly by Ermitage Kalone, out of our international 1.50m mare Cajza Cavat (Caressini L × Ralmé Z) — an exciting combination of two highly proven maternal families, bringing together the influence of Ralma and Bellaventure Kalone in one pedigree.

Her dam Cajza Cavat competed successfully up to international 1.50m level, with numerous wins and placings throughout her career. Performance runs throughout her immediate family, with several of her siblings reaching 1.50–1.60m level, including championship and Nations Cup horses.

At the heart of the damline is Estelle’s granddam, the Swedish mare Ralma, whose production record is exceptional. Ten of her direct offspring reached 1.50–1.60m level, including the 1.60m horses Bella, Caral, Carma, Curant and Lanz, alongside Cajza Cavat and several other international performers.

Estelle is also a sister to our FM Calia Cavat, FM Eclair Cavat and FM Extra Cavat, giving us several daughters of Cajza through carefully selected sire lines and allowing us to continue this proven maternal family within FM.

Her sire Ermitage Kalone (Catoki × Kannan) competes at international 1.60m level with Gilles Thomas and represented Belgium at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where they qualified for the Individual Final. Behind Ermitage is another exceptional producing mare, Bellaventure Kalone, who has produced multiple international Grand Prix horses and sits at the heart of the successful Kalone family.

For us, this makes Estelle a particularly exciting breeding combination: the merging of two exceptional producing mares, Ralma and Bellaventure Kalone, whose families have repeatedly produced horses for the highest levels of the sport.
